RIP Brian Browne
So many intangibles were taught, often without words getting in the way, through living it, doing it, and a sort of osmosis. The meaning of groove, soul, melody, space, time and balance. The value of freedom. The rewards of risk, getting inside of the moment in music. How to play, how to perform, how to phrase meaningful melody in creative composition spontaneously. Listening to that inner voice that is the spark of creativity that makes us human. Your music was a rare and precious gift, especially to those of us who had the privilege to partner with it. Thank you for everything, Brian. Going to miss you.
