Doug (Dougie) Johnston
1939 – 2010
Peacefully, on January 21st, Dougie passed on at the tender age of 70.
An outstanding jazz drummer, he will be remembered for his devotion to and love of music at the highest standards. Dougie could keep up with the best of them. He is fondly remembered by his fellow RCMP Band members and sadly missed by the community of Ottawa jazz musicians.
Rest in peace, Dougie.
