Life member, passed away on January 24, 2005, in his 88th year.

He played accordion and wrote “Barbara Ann Waltz” as a tribute to champion skater Barbara Ann Scott. He wrote to the Ottawa Citizen in February 1948, indicating that the piece “was broadcast locally in December 1947 and that it was “given over the radio by Mac and his Oldtimers, CKCO, Len Hopkins and his orchestra, and also the orchestras of Alex Dawson and George Milne.”

He was highly regarded by everyone who worked with him, and he will be fondly remembered by all his friends in Local 180.
