Raymond Lafortune
1915 – 2010
Raymond Lafortune, peacefully on April 2, 2010, at the age of 94 years.
Born June 26, 1915, Raymond joined Local 180 on July 13th, 1954, and was granted life membership on December 15th, 1980.
Raymond was a distinguished pianist/organist and was well known in the Ottawa region. He met and greatly admired pianists Carmen Cavallaro and Eddy Duchin. His two brothers, Henri and Marcel, were also well known and respected members of Local 180.
Rest in peace, Raymond.
