This page also features new information about some of Local 180’s earliest members who were active in the Local soon after it was established in 1902. Local 180’s records don’t go back that far, so newspaper articles and ancestry records have been used to learn about early members’ careers, the music they played, where they performed, and how Ottawa’s music scene has been constantly changing since the early 1900s.
